Ultrasound Pictures - March 16, 2005 (20 weeks)

We got the last set of ultrasounds today - as always it was amazing to watch it! Our baby is currently 14oz and everything is just the right size and is in just the right place.

We didn't get as many pictures to take home as before, but we saw a lot in person this time. There was a resident learning how to do ultrasounds from the expert technician, so we got to hear them talk about all the measurements they were performing. Things like measuring the humorous bone in the leg, heart, head, etc. Actually it was the humorous bone measurement that allowed them to determine the weight of the baby.

As usual, there was a little squirming going on. It was pretty neat to see the baby kicking in the ultrasound, and Judith could feel it at the same time.

Here's the first picture, of the baby's leg (kicking Mommy):

And here's a picture of the face. You can make out the lips and nose.
